Love this. Works great, very detailed and easy to use. Offline maps and tracking is the best!

I purchased the "premium" canadian map only to find out that the offline map is useless for orientation. No footpaths are shown and the level of detail is not good enough to be useful for way finding. I will stick with Galileo gps, which has much better offline map data. What a disappointment.

This seems to be a very powerful and useful app. The only criticism I have is the lack of instructions. There is probably many more features this software has, and I am slowly discovering them as I can.

Great App! Found this when I was searching for a hiking app when travelling in Scotland; now use it back home (Canada) all the time. Looking forward to more Canadians to start uploading routes... :)

Took me a while to figure out how to download a map. It was easy to buy one but to download it was a challenge. Bought the Canadian topo map from Canadian gov natural resources... It is obsolete shows me a military base that was closed in the early 90s. Shows me train tracks near my house that were removed in the late 90s. Overall useless. At lease useless in Canada.

Disappointing topographical information. I found other free apps that work much better than view ranger. Top maps + is excellent. I had high hopess for a view ranger, perhaps in a year or so they will have topographical information for Canada. I would give it a miss at this time.

This is an incredible tool for hiking, trail running, following tracks on GPX, finding routes from other users, off-route alarm, offline maps. I find the trail maps have good details. There are a lot of features to explore too. I use it in French in Canada. Also I could pay for more content but I did not try it.

Great app to create your own maps, download them in gpx and use them on any gps device. I use the open cycle maps also for hiking as it shows also the very minor trails and staircases and you never miss a turn. Much better than any paid app!

Amazing app, truly. Even in the middle of a forest, in a country you do not know at all, you are totally able to find every track in a forest you have never visited. Discover new places, new tracks, new views even unknown to locals.

This app helps me to trace my walking and not loose the path: useful in a lot of places!

So far this app is great it far exceeds my expectations Im still experimenting with it but it seems to be a great app
